Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Perpiñán saved Sporting Burgas from getting behind. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Antonio Fioriti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Fioriti in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Perpiñán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Fioriti came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Fioriti. Antonio Fioritis short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Antonio Fioriti came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Sporting Burgas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Fioriti couldn't finish the play. Antonio Fioriti struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Burgas. After 44 played minutes Sporting Burgas got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Piglowski. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurin Canturri in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Antonio Fioriti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Fioriti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Antonio Fioriti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Fioriti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sporting Burgas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Udrescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti. But to his dismay, Antonio Fioriti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 72 minutes into the game, Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ke Xiong Chen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Fioriti in the 88th minute of play. Antonio Fioriti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
