Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Matthieu Richardot came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ovidiu Poenaru in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Matthieu Richardot got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerold Zollt having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense.

In the 53rd minute Ovidiu Poenaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The DJK Füchtel Vechta fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when DJK Füchtel Vechta's Matthieu Richardot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ovidiu Poenaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Poenaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save DJK Füchtel Vechta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Poenaru in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Poenaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Philipp Lahm was substituted for Rea Selbert. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 69th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mauro Galvão who took care of the corner kick. Mauro Galvão made a great header on DJK Füchtel Vechta's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Ovidiu Poenaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Nóbrega in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Galvão was slow to take the kick. During this time DJK Füchtel Vechta's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 95th minute.
