Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gürsel Aksel got the match started through his kick off. Basmane Texas's attentive Kaptan Kıvılcım managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürsel Aksel in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Basmane Texas got a freekick which was hit by Lou Lou. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Gürsel Aksel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Basmane Texas were awarded a corner. Borys Budarz went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Basmane Texas's corner Borys Budarz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Gürsel Aksel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Serkan Kocaman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürsel Aksel in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The Basmane Texas fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Franco Armani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Camilo Gaos made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomas Illescas immediately put the ball in play. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürsel Aksel. In the 41st minute Gürsel Aksel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Ulvi Gencal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Franco Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Basmane Texas made a substitution. Risto Luite replaced Liviu Marinescu. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 minutes, Gürsel Aksel made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Serkan Kocaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dana Kazım came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Budarz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dana Kazım in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Dana Kazım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Dana Kazım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Dana Kazım had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dana Kazım was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Risto Luite might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Risto Luite ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that Basmane Texas were the better team. Basmane Texas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
