Sonny Alén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bornova's Sonny Alén. Sonny Alén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nafiz Özilter, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Sonny Alén successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Beyhan Oğuztüzün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
