When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Guido Dameda put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Pedro Grau came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todor Hostar's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. NCA Defensor Mercenario's Pedro Grau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Todor Hostar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NCA Defensor Mercenario fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Todor Hostar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. When NCA Defensor Mercenario's Todor Hostar in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Camilo Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todor Hostar to make the kick off. Eliu Vieitez's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliu Vieitez helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes NCA Defensor Mercenario got a freekick which was hit by Eliu Vieitez. In the 56th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Grau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Grau made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Grau. That made the score 3-4 in the 60 minute of play. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NCA Defensor Mercenario made a substitution. Ezkerra Betances replaced Guido Dameda. NCA Defensor Mercenario's Dalimil Mrkva was substituted for Todor Hostar. Pedro Grau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 68th minute. Pedro Grau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Reimundo Orejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Camilo Franco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NCA Defensor Mercenario the free kick. NCA Defensor Mercenario's Pedro Grau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 97th minute of play. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
