Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kamil Momodu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Dracena came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Kamil Momodu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bornova's goalkeeper Sonny Alén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Abram Sarmiento made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bornova's Sonny Alén tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bornova's Sonny Alén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Burak Saygur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Kamil Momodu made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nafiz Özilter, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kamil Momodu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Garrido in the 67th minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil in the 75th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Alén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sonny Alén having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 85th minute. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Şafak Taze made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Secada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
