Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 20th minute, Cristian Buinton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Luisão van Beek kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Cristian Buinton made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play forced Fc S.Zaharesti's goalkeeper Aleksander Eriksrud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Aleksander Eriksrud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksander Eriksrud saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fc S.Zaharesti's goalie and right to Luca Zorita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fc S.Zaharesti's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Fc S.Zaharesti's Eduard Aplugăriței got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breixo Bouzas in the 64th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play forced Fc S.Zaharesti's goalkeeper Aleksander Eriksrud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aleksander Eriksrud was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Aleksander Eriksrud successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aleksander Eriksrud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 96th minute. 99 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Aleksander Eriksrud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc S.Zaharesti were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
