Luisinho Uribe might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisinho Uribe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute of the match, Luisinho Uribe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goalkeeper Mihnea Plăcintă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihnea Plăcintă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Plăcintă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffan Ekegren kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Plăcintă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisinho Uribe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Luisinho Uribe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Plăcintă made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 70th minute. After 74 played minutes Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Selmo. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mihnea Plăcintă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihnea Plăcintă made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor.
