Sivert Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Sivert Eliasson's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sivert Eliasson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Śląsk Bytom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Fevzi Baykara kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fevzi Baykara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Brama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Antoni Brama came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoni Brama. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chile's Felix Garrido got a free kick in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fevzi Baykara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Mariano Lacasa sped through Śląsk Bytom's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antoni Brama. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fevzi Baykara in the 57th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fevzi Baykara in the 59th minute of the match. Śląsk Bytom's Sivert Eliasson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Garrido in the 63 minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fevzi Baykara scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's Fevzi Baykara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Garrido made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Śląsk Bytom's Sivert Eliasson. Alfred Nocny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Carballar during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Antoni Brama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. In the 92nd minute, Carlo Monni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Śląsk Bytom could leave the field as winners, despite Chile having more of the ball for most of the match.
