Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kurt Bure took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Benknotorna booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 minutes of play, Benknotorna's Kurt Bure made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Arvin Ekerot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Geraldo Trullols came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Benknotorna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Trullols couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Geraldo Trullols recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Geraldo Trullols showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 28th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Ekerot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Geraldo Trullols cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Geraldo Trullols got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Johan Vall succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. 45 minutes into the match, Kurt Bure dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Benknotorna's Kurt Bure made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Ekerot having to interfere. Geraldo Trullols sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. In the 65th minute, Gustav Siöberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arvin Ekerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Geraldo Trullols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Kurt Bure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benknotorna's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Bure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Bure in the 80th minute of play. Benknotorna's Arvin Ekerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 83rd minute of play. After 88 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Benknotorna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
