Colon Manrique showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 2nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Colon Manrique made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C. Sant Sabo's Colon Manrique did a great save. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. F.C. Sant Sabo's Roberto Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Mata had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colon Manrique was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Lizar. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of F.C. Sant Sabo's Colon Manrique. Colon Manrique was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sant Sabo's Colon Manrique proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Sant Sabo from getting a goal against them. Colon Manrique was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Colon Manrique was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 70 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Mata in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raúl Dagora was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. Sant Sabo's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on F.C. Sant Sabo's corner Raúl Dagora fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Colon Manrique took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Colon Manrique when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colon Manrique saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When F.C.
