In the 14th match minute, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micael Ciobica to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Zé Augusto Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The supporters of Mexico booed when Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micael Ciobica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Lucas. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Augusto Santos. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Nicu Lucescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Augusto Santos. Zé Augusto Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After 95 played minutes Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Jubin. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
