Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesur Kurceren in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Lara FK's goalkeeper Dursun Ali Alp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dursun Ali Alp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Dursun Ali Alp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 21 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dursun Ali Alp, 1-0. With a little luck, Lara FK's Dursun Ali Alp got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Hamdi Uma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yusuf Bahadır Semdin made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kubat Pirane. Lara FK's Hamdi Uma got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yusuf Bahadır Semdin made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kubat Pirane however managed to control. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Cesur Kurceren put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. In the 57th minute of the game Yusuf Bahadır Semdin made a throw-in which Kubat Pirane played forward. In the 66th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ali Alp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lara FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hamdi Uma hit a great ball. Lara FK's Cesur Kurceren got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dursun Ali Alp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Hamdi Uma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 83rd minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Dursun Ali Alp. Lara FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 86th minute of the game Karahan İlksel made a throw-in which Kubat Pirane played forward. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
