Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Safet Hands made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Juan Lebron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Sandberg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Juan Lebron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Lebron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute.
