Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Federico Di Iorio scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Alba FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davide Conte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Davide Conte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Cino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Ciro Cino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes, Alba FC's Ciro Cino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alba FC reached it. Ciro Cino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Amatori to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alba FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Conte came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes Alba FC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Carlini. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Amatori in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alba FC's Davide Conte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Di Iorio in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato Carlini during the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Donato Amatori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Amatori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Alba FC's Ciro Cino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
