Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Creangă started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Codrin Barbăneagră showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Codrin Barbăneagră took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustinian Stanciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Dumitru Mălăele's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Mălăele helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, one of AC Milan Tigers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Milan Tigers.

AC Milan Tigers made a substitution. Sandu Calboreanu replaced Dumitru Mălăele. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of AC Milan Tigers booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Creangă in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, AC Milan Tigers's goalkeeper Codrin Barbăneagră had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Codrin Barbăneagră made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, AC Milan Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Codrin Barbăneagră reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Creangă in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Creangă in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rdth minute of the game Cristian Creangă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Cristian Creangă put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Codrin Barbăneagră showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Creangă in the 81st minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Enciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Milan Tigers were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Costin Ciorobîtcă took the corner. After taking down the ball on AC Milan Tigers's corner Costin Ciorobîtcă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Enciu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandu Calboreanu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play.
