Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Tamulewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rottneros FK defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Tamulewicz. The Rottneros FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Tamulewicz should have stopped the shot. Felix Luque made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo however managed to control. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rottneros FK's Arvin Ljungberg. The supporters of Mexico booed when Rottneros FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Tamulewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Aspengren. Herbert Tamulewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of play. Herbert Tamulewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Rottneros FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herbert Tamulewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Herbert Tamulewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when Rottneros FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Obafemi Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Aspengren in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Rottneros FK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Herbert Tamulewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Tamulewicz. That made the score 0-2 after 59 minutes of play. Rottneros FK made a substitution. Zdeněk Páral replaced Pirro Leon. When Nils Aspengren came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Rottneros FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Aspengren couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rottneros FK's Herbert Tamulewicz. Herbert Tamulewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herbert Tamulewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Arvin Ljungberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Aspengren struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rottneros FK. The supporters of Rottneros FK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rottneros FK.
