Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 11th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kim Hänninen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fragleses's Kim Hänninen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Fragleses from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatko Ibrahimović's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Fragleses's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kim Hänninen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Kim Hänninen however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes Fragleses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 43rd match minute, Fragleses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Mentus to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 46th minute of the game, when Daniel Zorita after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Fragleses's goal. Daniel Zorita was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Fragleses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zlatko Ibrahimović received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Zlatko Ibrahimović slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kim Hänninen saved Fragleses from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Kim Hänninen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fragleses made a substitution. Waldemar Wojtowicz replaced Olaf Wojtowicz. Fragleses's Radoslaw Czerwinski was substituted for Roch Dejo. Grzegorz Rasiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hänninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Hänninen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute of the match.
