Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Babarada got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Horaţiu Babarada came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Babarada couldn't finish the play. The SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Augustin Herlea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Du Ning Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Augustin Herlea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Augustin Herlea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Teodor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 22nd playminute. Dacian Ciobica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Herlea to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du Ning Zhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Teodor took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Herlea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Fabio Jaccarini made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Du Ning Zhi made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Du Ning Zhi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Du Ning Zhi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ilie Teodor ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Herlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Augustin Herlea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Caner Sefercik was substituted for Fabio Jaccarini. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Du Ning Zhi in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Nistor Teaşcă got a free kick in the 77th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Nistor Teaşcă in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Du Ning Zhi having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahsun Koçaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahsun Koçaş in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Ilie Teodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
