Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Miner in the 5th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcell Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Miner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Miner in the 18th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Miner struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico de la Rosa CF. In the 23rd match minute, Atletico de la Rosa CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huang Ran Feng to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcell Yashin to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Adán in the 26th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Miner in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeca Gadda made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Zeca Gadda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Zeca Gadda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Marcell Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcell Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Artur Pikk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico de la Rosa CF and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Atletico de la Rosa CF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Artur Pikk hit a great ball. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Liam-Nataniel de la Rosa was substituted for Anacleto Adán. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Alessandro Eguizabal was substituted for Fortunato Miner. In the 68th match minute, Atletico de la Rosa CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Pikk to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play forced Atletico de la Rosa CF's goalkeeper Marcell Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca got free with Rolando Noboa in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Atletico de la Rosa CF's Alessandro Eguizabal to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcell Yashin came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca scored 3-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anthony Alvarado made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Alcocer. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
