David Schembri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Linkhorst in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Våleman to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Våleman came free, but David Schembri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ManagerZone Crew's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Våleman in the 16th minute. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Chorche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Isias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrick Armstrong firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Thorbjörn Olerius managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorbjörn Olerius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Schembri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34thth minute of the game Peter Linkhorst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Northern California's David Schembri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrick Armstrong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gervasio Isias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play. After 47 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Thorbjörn Olerius. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陆阳默 in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, ManagerZone Crew's Adrian Våleman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Isias in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 陆阳默 in the 56th minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
