In the 15th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eugenio Colecchia. The goal made the score 2-0. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Massaro in the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Falone to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Milagros Fraga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eugenio Colecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Eugenio Colecchia made a huge save. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godo Møltoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Colecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniele Massaro to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cosimo Franceschini hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute Moises Gayoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Colecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Daniele Massaro made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Seggiano's Alfred Klawki got a free kick in the 70th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Eugenio Colecchia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Alfred Klawki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Antonio Tenorio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Colecchia. Seggiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Tenorio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Seggiano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
