Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Soares. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Carlos Alberto Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Benjamim Alvarenga in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Catugi FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Alberto Soares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th play minute Walmir Pombal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. A nice corner shot did that Benjamim Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 28 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime França. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ernesto de Amaral hit a great ball. After 35 minutes of play, Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Soares in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Walmir Pombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Soares struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catugi FC.

Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of play. Jaime França kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reko Nybacka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Walmir Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catugi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Soares in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 94 minutes of play, Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Catugi FC were the better team. Catugi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
