Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Valette Stars getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Armand Plaza hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Guillaume Chaine sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Theo Chassot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Crochard to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Adrien Tanneau threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guillaume Chaine might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillaume Chaine ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valette Stars's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrien Tanneau came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev. But to his dismay, Rafail Rusev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Rusev in the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillaume Chaine made a kick off. Valette Stars's Dan Pruvot was substituted for Pierre-Antoine Landemaine. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adrien Tanneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathys Chassot to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrien Tanneau saved Valette Stars from getting behind. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 69th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrien Tanneau having to interfere. With 79 minutes on the clock, Mathys Chassot commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 79th minute, one of Valette Stars:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valette Stars. Valette Stars:s Adrien Tanneau showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrien Tanneau having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mexico booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Valette Stars echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mexico had held the ball for most of the match.
