Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Navarro made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Silviano Caballero immediately put the ball in play. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alonso Valdivia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Albir fc's Valerio Sabina got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Luca Espinar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonso Valdivia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Navarro was slow to take the kick. During this time Albir fc's players had a chance to rest. Rafael Navarro made a great header on Albir fc's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Valdivia having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Alonso Valdivia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 28 minutes into the game, Silviano Caballero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alonso Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of play. Ametz Pedraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Albir fc's Derwin Comas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonso Valdivia. Alonso Valdivia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Honduras booed when Albir fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Francisco Saavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Derwin Comas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes in the game Silviano Caballero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ametz Pedraza. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Ametz Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes, Edmundo Espiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Albir fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albir fc's Alonso Valdivia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Albir fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Edmundo Espiga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 88th playminute. Rafael Navarro got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Silviano Caballero. Alonso Valdivia made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Albir fc throughout the match.
