Lucas Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Washington Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 47th minute of play forced CLAYMORE COUNTRY's goalkeeper Lucas Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Washington Arantes took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Gilbert Bonsaint took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. But to his dismay, Anísio Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Anísio Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gilbert Bonsaint managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Bonsaint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Arantes in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Gilbert Bonsaint had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Bonsaint was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Bonsaint in the 95th minute of the match.
