In the 20th match minute, CLAYMORE COUNTRY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Bernal to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Bonsaint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Bonsaint in the 40th minute of play. Gilbert Bonsaint's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Arantes came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Maciel having to interfere. A collision led to CLAYMORE COUNTRY getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sun Kun Bing hit a great ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CLAYMORE COUNTRY were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anísio Azevedo took the corner. Santino Seco took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Maciel. Lucas Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
