Elari Vellemäe came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elari Vellemäe having to interfere. A collision led to Mulgimaa Kosilased getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Babhruvahana Von Bischhoffshausen hit a great ball. Urmet Maidsaar kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Elari Vellemäe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babhruvahana Von Bischhoffshausen in the 13th minute of play. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elari Vellemäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elari Vellemäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicko Kličko, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Steevy Ferlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Soll came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elari Vellemäe saved Mulgimaa Kosilased from getting behind. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babhruvahana Von Bischhoffshausen's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Elari Vellemäe had great luck who in the 41stth minute grab hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 42nd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mulgimaa Kosilased's Elari Vellemäe did a great save. Elari Vellemäe was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Elari Vellemäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Mulgimaa Kosilased's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Elari Vellemäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elari Vellemäe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Panama booed when Mulgimaa Kosilased was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babhruvahana Von Bischhoffshausen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mulgimaa Kosilased's Elari Vellemäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 76th minute of play. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Elari Vellemäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 82nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 87th minute of play forced Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalkeeper Elari Vellemäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elari Vellemäe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute of the match, Babhruvahana Von Bischhoffshausen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Mulgimaa Kosilased's Babhruvahana Von Bischhoffshausen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-2 after 93 minutes of play.
