The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rickard Algren was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rickard Algren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Black Cold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Rickard Algren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of play. Rickard Algren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 24th minute of the match. Ninjas FK's Rickard Algren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. Rickard Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rickard Algren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Algren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ninjas FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Rickard Algren, making the score, 0-1. In the 58th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match Ninjas FK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nils-Emil Finman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Rickard Algren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Rickard Algren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Algren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ninjas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anti Alla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Black Cold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 0-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Felix Montenegro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ecuador played a much better game than Ninjas FK and deserved their victory. The Ninjas FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
