With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Perpiñán saved Dolar Blue Ψ from getting behind. In the 5th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Dolar Blue Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eliseo Mina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dolar Blue Ψ's Javier Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. Ezequiel Ixaka hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Perpiñán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dolar Blue Ψ's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play forced Dolar Blue Ψ's goalkeeper Javier Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Beturian in the 28th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Javier Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Beturian in the 36th minute of play. Ezequiel Ixaka hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Chano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Beturian in the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Chano got free with Rolando Noboa in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Javier Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of play. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Perpiñán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Emmanuel Reyes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dolar Blue Ψ's Javier Perpiñán did a great save. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Javier Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Aitor Branca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alonso Berganza got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 84th minute, Aitor Branca made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aitor Branca in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Aitor Branca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Aitor Branca notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
