Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Andersson in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Erling Falkrantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Enström was slow to take the kick. During this time Idrottsklubben -03's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Fred Salkvist managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 24 minutes into the match, Folke Forssell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego, 1-0. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Törnqvist having to make a save. Kristian Törnqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Törnqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Törnqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Pedro Indiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Pär Groth got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Folke Forssell. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Kristian Törnqvist however easily saved by the left post. Idrottsklubben -03's Herman Örtendahl was substituted for Erling Falkrantz. After a rather tough play, Idrottsklubben -03's Kurt Andreasson got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Kristian Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Kristian Törnqvist made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Törnqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Stefan Andersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Idrottsklubben -03's Lucas Hääger was substituted for Fred Salkvist. After a rather tough play, Idrottsklubben -03's Herman Örtendahl got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Törnqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Pär Odén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Idrottsklubben -03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 88th minute Stefan Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idrottsklubben -03 were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. William Enström took the corner. The corner ended in William Enström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Törnqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Idrottsklubben -03 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
