Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Siluna Barra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Моряците's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siluna Barra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Trifon Tihov hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tenyo Rizov in the 14th minute of play. Nasko Sergeev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Моряците's Stoyko Sendov got a free kick in the 18th minute. Siluna Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Luque in the 19th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siluna Barra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of play forced Моряците's goalkeeper Siluna Barra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Моряците's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Siluna Barra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Siluna Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 34th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Marcial Laurenciano sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siluna Barra. Моряците's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Siluna Barra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Siluna Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of the match. Marcial Laurenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Nedelcho Karamochev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Моряците got a freekick which was hit by Stoyko Sendov. In the 94th minute, Joel Gaona fired a really elegant long shot, but Siluna Barra threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
