In the 17th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Amager FC's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Strandsgaard came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kenneth Strandsgaard. Kenneth Strandsgaard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Strømvad in the 39th minute of play. Birger Strømvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amin Rostvold was the one to do the kick off. Kenneth Strandsgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Amager FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Guillermo Fontirroig at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Amager FC. 3-0. In the 57thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 63rd minute of the match. Alan Tamayo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Strandsgaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenneth Strandsgaard was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Chile's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
