Ricardinho Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jostein Sønsteby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardinho Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 11th minute of play forced Heiligenboom's goalkeeper Jostein Sønsteby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardinho Dantas took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jostein Sønsteby. Jostein Sønsteby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Stephan Siepel hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jostein Sønsteby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Dantas in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Ricardinho Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Dantas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jostein Sønsteby saved Heiligenboom from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jostein Sønsteby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombo A.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lauro Neiva in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 30th minute of play forced Heiligenboom's goalkeeper Jostein Sønsteby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Heiligenboom's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Dantas came free, but Jostein Sønsteby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Colombo A.C.'s corner Şehzade Faydalı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jostein Sønsteby quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41st minute, Ricardinho Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jostein Sønsteby was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Şehzade Faydalı came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Colombo A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şehzade Faydalı couldn't finish the play. Colombo A.C.'s Lauro Neiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jostein Sønsteby in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardinho Dantas to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Colombo A.C.'s Michal Burufski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colombo A.C. made a substitution. Aitor Cintron replaced Lauro Neiva. After a rather tough play, Heiligenboom's Celsinho Alvarenga got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ricardinho Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jostein Sønsteby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Aitor Cintron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jostein Sønsteby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiligenboom's Jostein Sønsteby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aitor Cintron in the 75th minute of play. Ricardinho Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jostein Sønsteby having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Dantas in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jostein Sønsteby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute of the match, Ricardinho Dantas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jostein Sønsteby saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 83rd minute of the match Colombo A.C. got a corner. Heiligenboom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giovani Mendes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Colombo A.C.'s Giovani Mendes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jostein Sønsteby in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Heiligenboom's Jostein Sønsteby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aitor Cintron in the 86th minute of play. Jostein Sønsteby made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ricardinho Dantas sent off a good shot on target. Jostein Sønsteby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aitor Cintron's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Colombo A.C.'s Aitor Cintron made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jostein Sønsteby was left in no man's land by his defense there!
