Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Hao Fan Yong got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Man Fish played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Lute in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Heiligenboom defense, Hao Fan Yong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jostein Sønsteby. The Heiligenboom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jostein Sønsteby should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Heiligenboom's Jostein Sønsteby got control of the ball when Mai Shu Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jostein Sønsteby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Tilea's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hao Fan Yong kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jostein Sønsteby. That made the score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celsinho Alvarenga made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Heiligenboom's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tilea came free, but Jostein Sønsteby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celsinho Alvarenga got free with Man Fish in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celsinho Alvarenga spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goal. Hao Fan Yong struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jostein Sønsteby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrebimba o Malho SLB. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Tilea in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jostein Sønsteby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute Maxim Tilea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jostein Sønsteby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Man Fish took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Lute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Tilea in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jostein Sønsteby saved Heiligenboom from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Maxim Tilea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jostein Sønsteby was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Heiligenboom's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
