Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roland Banaszak made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobías Astorga. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Banaszak in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Ismael Frances notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute Roland Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Jago came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Jago in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Atlético Nuevo Laredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Larpe to maneuver through the defense. When Roland Banaszak came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Merengue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Banaszak couldn't finish the play. Benicio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Núñez in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Javiero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Frances in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Frances came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Roland Banaszak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Domingo Jago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Rojas to make the kick off. If Roland Banaszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute Darwin Núñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Tobías Astorga got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Frascuelo. In the 70th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Carolo Bernat hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Tobías Astorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mateo Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Banaszak came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Jago in the 82nd minute of play. Benicio Javiero was a little too slow when Darwin Núñez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Frances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Roland Banaszak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Javiero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Atlético Nuevo Laredo got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Olentzaro. The long shot by Edelmiro Quintyn in the 98th minute really tested Benicio Javiero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the final whistle sounded Merengue FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Nuevo Laredo.
