A well-hit corner resulted in Zbyszko Lech heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tytus Wojton had several of the Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benicio Javiero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Nuevo Laredo from getting a goal against them. Jurand Jaraczeski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Javiero having to interfere. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rodrigo Rojas sped through Onyx's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zdzislaw Domarecki. Rodrigo Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zdzislaw Domarecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Tobías Astorga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Onyx's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Rojas came free, but Zdzislaw Domarecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobías Astorga in the 32nd minute of play forced Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Tobías Astorga in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emrys Hannah really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Piotr Zahemski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Zdzislaw Domarecki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Zahemski came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Jaraczeski in the 62nd minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Jaraczeski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The supporters of Atlético Nuevo Laredo booed when Onyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Zahemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobías Astorga hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Benicio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Jaraczeski in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emrys Hannah was slow to take the kick. During this time Onyx's players had a chance to rest. Flavio Etxatxu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Martxot during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benicio Javiero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piotr Zahemski went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Jaraczeski in the 86th minute of the match. Tobías Astorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Jaraczeski came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Onyx had won after a very even match.
