The audience was convinced that Darwin Núñez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 蔡渊杰 was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 蔡渊杰 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Urtsin went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Domingo Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 蔡渊杰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 蔡渊杰. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. 蔡渊杰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 83rd minute of play. Domingo Jago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but 蔡渊杰 made a huge save. In the 86th match minute, DongAn.Tec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 谢康西 to maneuver through the defense. 蔡渊杰 was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Aquiles Urtsin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aquiles Urtsin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Merengue FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
