Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stuart Armstrong started the match with the kick off. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Piesciuk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play forced KP Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Antoni Piesciuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Piesciuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by KP Brzeg Dolny's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute, Ludomil Gdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, KP Brzeg Dolny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Kilian to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antoni Piesciuk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Stuart Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antoni Piesciuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Antoni Piesciuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. KP Brzeg Dolny's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Antoni Piesciuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after KP Brzeg Dolny's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Mexico booed when KP Brzeg Dolny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Barciniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play was well struck, but Antoni Piesciuk made a really good save at the right post. After having played for 63 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Antoni Piesciuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. With a little luck, KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk got control of the ball when Luca Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baycan Tura went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baycan Tura in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Zdrojowy came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoni Piesciuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 86th minute. The supporters of KP Brzeg Dolny booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Baycan Tura came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
