Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 3rd minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Seguinus. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Seguinus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Rosendo Seguinus came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Eduard Semeghin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-2. Eric Ţirpescu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Seguinus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dragoş Cazacu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Semeghin made a kick off. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Ernest Petru got a free kick in the 58th minute. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rosendo Seguinus. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 64th minute. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Vermeşan got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Seguinus made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the game, Ciprian Sângeorzan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ciprian Sângeorzan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Vermeşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sebastián Puig during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Semeghin, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
