Lennarth Foxø's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wictor Maiborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 42nd minute of the match. A Sandvig G's Wictor Maiborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. A Sandvig G's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Serra to make the kick off. A Sandvig G's Wictor Maiborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of play. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A Sandvig G throughout the match.
