In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márk Pécsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márk Pécsi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bora Türehan in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márk Pécsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márk Pécsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 39 in the game by Bora Türehan from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Bora Türehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Yüksel Çınar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Yüksel Çınar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Türehan in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bora Türehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Bora Türehan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márk Pécsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Zülfü Ulunay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zülfü Ulunay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Christobal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Karaburun FC's goalkeeper Márk Pécsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Türehan in the 89th minute of play. Zülfü Ulunay hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
