Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Guy Le Grand started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Mickaël Landreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Mariano got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Illescas. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Landreau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mickaël Landreau. Mickaël Landreau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mickaël Landreau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickaël Landreau having to interfere. PSG FC's attentive Justin Ramond managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PSG FC's Luca Tobă. PSG FC's Luca Tobă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Mickaël Landreau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. PSG FC's Mickaël Landreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickaël Landreau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. PSG FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jose Correa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mickaël Landreau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mickaël Landreau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Mickaël Landreau made a huge save. PSG FC's Mickaël Landreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of play. PSG FC's Justin Ramond managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 76 minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Justin Ramond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the game Camilo Gaos made a throw-in which Tomas Illescas played forward. Mickaël Landreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Landreau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Mickaël Landreau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 92 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mickaël Landreau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Venezuela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
