In the 12th minute Demirhan Afgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A T A B E Y - Fener45's Gökmen Avşar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruninho Fernandes in the 18th minute. Eser Ulutaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A T A B E Y - Fener45's Eser Ulutaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eser Ulutaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to A T A B E Y - Fener45 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Robustiano Giro hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, A T A B E Y - Fener45's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Eser Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by A T A B E Y - Fener45's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that A T A B E Y - Fener45's Eser Ulutaş managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mustafa Arif Salahaddin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Afşin Koyas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A T A B E Y - Fener45's Eser Ulutaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save A T A B E Y - Fener45 from getting a goal against them. Eser Ulutaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Demirhan Afgan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
