After 15 minutes, Valentino Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Freestylers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrik Nagel might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Nagel ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Dominik Breckheimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominik Breckheimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Breckheimer went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute of the match, Arne Jakob tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 40 minutes into the match, Arne Jakob dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 4-0. Dominik Breckheimer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Jakob to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Nagel, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Arne Jakob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jorge Magrina fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jorge Magrina a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Magrina hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Freestylers booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Freestylers's Dominik Breckheimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After having played for 96 minutes, Arne Jakob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freestylers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Jakob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freestylers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
