Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC GAZprom's Miron Kalashnikov got a free kick in the 17th minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artur Tyulenin was slow to take the kick. During this time FC GAZprom's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Maksim Lobanovskiy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Parov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Parov. Anton Parov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Anton Parov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after FC GAZprom's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play forced FC GAZprom's goalkeeper Anton Parov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xie Cheng Xiao to make the kick off. A collision led to FC GAZprom getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Noah Gessen hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksim Lobanovskiy in the 54th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Gessen in the 60th minute of play. After taking down the ball on FC GAZprom's corner Artur Tyulenin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Anton Parov in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Parov having to interfere. Anton Parov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC GAZprom's Xie Cheng Xiao in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC GAZprom made a substitution. Diego Salvagnin replaced Maksim Lobanovskiy. FC GAZprom's Sergey Dorofeev was substituted for Ilya Derevschikov. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, FC GAZprom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofoklis Siamantouras to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, FC GAZprom's Diego Salvagnin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC GAZprom could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
