Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valio Tammisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans managed to reach the ball for a save. Rigoberto Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaap van der Schans having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Westenenk's Eddy van den Eede ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Eddy van den Eede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valio Tammisto in the 38th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute of the match Westenenk got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eddy van den Eede ran over to the corner to take the kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Valio Tammisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valio Tammisto scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valio Tammisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
