Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silviu Miclea took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Noia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play forced Noia's goalkeeper Geovani Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertinho Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovani Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of the match. Norberto Villegas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Velloso having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noia's Geovani Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Silviu Miclea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Silviu Miclea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovani Velloso came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 32ndth minute of the game Silviu Miclea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Albertinho Campidelis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Noia's Pablo Acosta got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Geovani Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Noia got a freekick which was hit by Washington Teixeira. The supporters of Noia booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Silviu Miclea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noia's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviu Miclea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Miclea came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Villegas in the 63rd minute of play. In the 71st minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Geovani Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Noia's Geovani Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 78th minute of play. Geovani Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Geovani Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Noia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
