Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Paublo having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Orlando Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Paublo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anjullan AFC's Dalmacio Paublo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Borja in the 26th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Millrick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Borja in the 42nd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Teobaldo Lluterio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Lluterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Cristian Sancho. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Anjullan AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. After some careless play in the Anjullan AFC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Paublo. The Anjullan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Paublo should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Anjullan AFC's Ādolfs 王义勇 was substituted for Fausto Costante. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Borja was the one to do the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Antonio Etxahun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Antonio Etxahun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Siro Castulo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. Dalmacio Paublo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Ecuador's Diego Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmacio Paublo. Dalmacio Paublo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Anjullan AFC's Amancio Benat was substituted for Miguel Borja. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Paublo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Amancio Benat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Dalmacio Paublo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Diego Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Amancio Benat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anjullan AFC throughout the match.
