Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Smotančeri. The throw-in from Christian Sancho in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Smotančeri's Mauro Romero. Ismael Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Petar Svraka managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Smotančeri's supporters rose to their feet, but Petar Svraka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Smotančeri's Ismael Cebrian got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hajdar Tofkić to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Krstanović came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute FC Smotančeri were awarded a corner. Oscar Restu went to the cornerflag to take it. After 59 played minutes FC Smotančeri got a freekick which was hit by 余松思. 61 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Krstanović. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Smotančeri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Krstanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Romero's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Romero helped the player get up and apologised.
